Gate Opens with Transmitter but Will Not Close with Transmitter
If your Patriot RSL Slide gate will open with the LCR Transmitter but will not close with it, the issue is most likely related to the programming of the LCR receiver. The P2 relay may be programmed to latch mode which is easily reprogrammable using the following method:
- On the Patriot control board, locate and press and hold the LED Indicator button.
- Look in the lower left corner of the Patriot control board and note which LEDs are on.
- If the Free Exit/Open Input LED is on, the receiver P2 is programmed to latch mode.
- Refer to the How to Disable Latch Mode on the Low Current Receiver guide for instructions.
- If this does not correct the problem, refer to the Gate Will Not Automatically Close guide for further troubleshooting.
- If the problem is still not resolved, contact the factory for further assistance.
