Gate Opens with Transmitter but Will Not Close with Transmitter

If your Ranger HD gate opener will open but not close with the LCR transmitter, the issue is most likely related to the programming of the LCR receiver and is unlikely to be a faulty device. The P2 relay may be programmed to latch mode.

1. On the Ranger control board, locate and press and hold the LED Indicator button.
2. Look below the J2 terminal plug and note which LEDs are on.
3. If the Free Exit/Open Input LD2 is on, the receiver P2 is programmed to latch mode.
4. Go to the Resetting Receiver P2 Relay to Momentary Mode section and follow those steps.
5. If this does not correct the problem, return to troubleshooting section 4 and perform steps 1 through 5.
6. If the problem is still not resolved, contact the factory for further assistance.
