Control Board 15 Amp Fuse Blows When an Open or Close Command is Given
- Fuses blow primarily for one reason: the gate cannot move. Possible causes include something physically blocking the gate, the gate attempting to move in the wrong direction due to an incorrect limit switch setting, or a wiring problem. A wiring issue is most commonly found at a splice made during installation.
- Another possible cause is the brake inside the gear motor. If the brake is not releasing, the motor cannot run.
