How to Wire the Cartell CP-4 Free Exit Sensor to a USAutomatic Gate Opener System
If you plan on using a free exit device that is not the typical CP-4 Cartell brand that is commonly used with USAutomatic gate openers, you can follow this guide on how to wire the device to your gate system properly. These instructions are compatible with all current USAutomatic gate openers.
Please note that these instructions are a basic guide and you should always refer to the manual of your free exit device before installation
Basic Wiring Instruction for Exit Devices
- Disconnect the J2 Terminal from the control board.
- Unscrew the Terminals listed in the chart below.
- Insert the wires using the chart below, then tighten the screws
- Plug the J2 terminal back into the control board
