How to Unpair a Basic Wireless Keypad from the Receiver
The receiver, not the keypad, remembers the connection. To unpair your keypad, you either break the link on the keypad side or erase the memory on the receiver side. Option 1 is fastest. Use Option 2 only if you want to wipe everything.
Manual
Option 1: Change the Keypad's Security Code (Recommended)
- Enter your Master Password, then press 6.
- When you hear two short beeps, enter a new random 9-switch Security Code pattern using 0, *, and #. (Write it down.)
- Press #, then press 6 again to save.
- You will hear two short beeps confirming the change.
Your keypad now has a new code the receiver does not recognize. Simply do not re-pair it to the receiver if you want it to stay unpaired.
Option 2: Erase All Codes from the Receiver
Warning: This deletes ALL paired keypads and remotes.
- On the receiver, press P2 until the green LD light comes on. Release P2.
- While the green light is still on, press and hold P1 and P2 together until the light blinks slowly 4 times.
- All transmitter and keypad codes are now erased.
