How to Replace the Battery in a Wireless Transmitter

The battery life of a remote transmitter be it 2 or 4 buttons is typically 12-18 months with the average 23A (coin) battery. These batteries are cheap, easy to replace, and are often even easier to locate as is the case with USAutomatic LCR, Sentry, and LCR Premium remotes. Some signs that the battery is beginning to go bad is that the range of your remote is noticeably lower than usual, you have to press the button several times to get the gate to operate, or sometimes even hit the button harder. Luckily, USAutomatic batteries are easily replaceable and don't require any special tools.
