How to Replace the Battery in a Wireless Push to Operate Button
Built for outdoor environments, the Wireless Push to Operate Button is a pressure-sensitive pad activates with a single press, generating an audible tone to confirm operation and opening your gate or door. Normally, the button will normally illuminate green as you activate the button but if the battery is weak, this green light will instead be red, indicating the battery needs to be replaced soon. The expected battery life in these buttons is around 2 years.
Important Note: The battery used in the button is a lithium 3.6v AA battery and a regular 1.5v AA battery will not work as a replacement!

There is a small opening on the right side of the button near the bottom. Insert the flat head screwdriver or wedging tool into this opening and push it straight in until the cover comes off.
Step 2: Remove the Button
The button is held in place with 4 clips, 1 on each edge. Pull these clips back and the button will pop out.
Step 3: Replace the Battery
Remove the original battery and replace it with an equivalent lithium 3.6v AA battery. The button should now illuminate green as you activate it, indicating good battery strength.
Step 4: Reinstall the Button
