How to Erase All Programming from the Low Current Receiver
When moving, upgrading, or replacing keypads and remotes for your USAutomatic gate opener, it's important to know how to erase all programming from the low current receiver to ensure safety for your facility. This will remove all keypads and remotes that are programmed to the receiver, and doing this may be necessary when trying to solve issues where the gate activates and runs.
- Press and Hold P2 Until the Green LED Illuminates
- Once the green LED turns on, release the P2 button.
- Press and Hold P1 and P2 at the Same Time: You need to begin holding down both buttons while the green LED is still lit from the previous step. If the light turns off before you hold both buttons, start over from the beginning.
After holding both buttons for 2 seconds the green LED will blink slowly 3 times, indicating all programming has been erased.
Confirm the Programming is Erased:
Test a remote or keypad that was previously programmed and confirm that it no longer operates the gate. Start over from the beginning if they still operate the gate.
