How to Enable Latch Mode on the Low Current Receiver

Every USAutomatic Low Current Receiver features a "hold open" or latch mode feature that can be used for better commercial usage. P2, or relay 2, on the radio receiver can be configured to hold the gate open. Once this procedure is complete, any keypad or remote that is paired to P2 will lock the gate open.

  1. Verify if Latch Mode is Enabled:

Press the P2 push-button until the green LED light comes on, then release. A flashing green LED indicates latch mode is already enabled on the receiver and continuing with this procedure is not necessary.

  2. Enable Latch Mode (Return P2 Back to Momentary Mode):

    • Using a narrow tool, press and hold P2 until the green LED turns on.
    • As soon as the LED turns on, release P2 and immediately press and release P1.
    • The green LED should turn from flashing to steady. Latch mode is now enabled.
  3. Verifying Latch Mode After it's Enablement:

Press and hold P2 until the green LED light turns on. The green LED light should be flashing, if not, attempt to Enable Latch Mode again and retry this step.
