How to Change the Master Password on a Premium Metal Wireless Keypad
The Master Password controls access to the programming functions on the Premium Metal Wireless Keypad (Part #050551). The factory default is 11111. Changing it prevents anyone who knows the default from modifying your keypad settings. The new Master Password must be exactly 5 digits.
Move through the key presses quickly. The keypad will exit programming mode if you pause too long between steps and you will need to start over. If you hear a long beep at any point, an error occurred. Start over from Step 1.

Troubleshooting
I hear one long beep after entering the current Master Password.
The current Master Password was not accepted. Make sure you are entering it correctly. If you have forgotten it, use your PUK code to reset it back to the factory default of 11111. The PUK code is on a sticker inside the keypad. Once reset, return to Step 1 and use 11111 as your current password.
I hear one long beep at the end of the sequence.
The two entries of the new Master Password did not match, or one of the entries timed out. Start over from Step 1 and make sure you enter the exact same 5-digit password in both Step 2 and Step 3 without pausing between key presses.
The new Master Password does not work after the change.
Confirm the change was successful by entering the new password followed by 9. If you hear two short beeps, the password is correct and working. If you hear a long beep, the change may not have completed. Repeat all three steps and listen for the two short beep confirmation at the end of Step 3.
