E11 Error on the Battery Controller
An E11 on your USAutomatic Battery Controller (520001) means the connected battery voltage has dropped below the controller's cutoff threshold (approximately 10.5 volts). When this happens, the controller shuts down to protect the battery and will not operate the gate or accept a charge until the battery is restored.
What to Do
- Remove the battery from the system.
- Charge the battery externally with a standard 12V battery charger until it reads at least 12.5 volts.
- Load test the battery if possible. A battery that drops back below 10.5V right after charging is likely dead and should be replaced.
- Reinstall the battery and reconnect it to the controller.
- Check the controller screen. It should now show the normal voltage reading without the E11 error.
