The USAutomatic 520001 Battery Controller is designed to regulate the flow of solar energy, charging the battery. It includes built-in mounting flanges and an LED screen for programming or viewing the power source's status, and for preventing overuse of the connected battery. It can be used with either solar-powered slide or swing gate operators and is made for charging 12V DC batteries via either a solar panel or the USAutomatic DC Transformer 520009. In applications where a 24V solar panel is being used, this controller can also be used to charge 24V DC batteries.
